We were over the moon excited when one or our clients contacted us for a very special 10 year anniversary shoot recreating some of their wedding photos and capturing some new shots with their kids! This is the kind of shoot that speaks straight to our hearts! We set the date and drove to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs one evening! We pulled in, planning to start at 6:00pm...but our Colorado weather had a different idea and started to downpour buckets of rain on us! After 45 minutes sitting in our cars, the rain stopped...but by now kids were hungry and a bit stir crazy after sitting in the car all that time...and the weather was still a bit iffy. So we had to decide what to do. We decided since we drove there and everyone was all dressed up, we were going for it, and we are so glad we did! Even through all the craziness, we got fabulous photos, and it was so much fun that on the way home I called James and asked if we could do a 10 years later shoot in Silverton...and he said YES!!! It's one of our most favorite places ever, but we haven't even been back since we got married. Now we have the perfect reason for a return trip!
