What an honor it was working with this sweet family! They were recommended to me by a fellow photographer and friend who unfortunately couldn't take on family sessions at the time. We scheduled this session for a sunny day in May. The colors were bright, the trees were blooming and the love was flowing between this darling family. 

A Perfect Family Session with Two Perfect Models

Sometimes, with little ones of this age, they're slightly hesitant of strangers at first. Especially if they're a little shy-natured to begin with. That, however, was not the case with these two! They both had such open and bright personalities. When it came to being in front of the camera, they were absolute rock stars. We settled on meeting at Fly'n B Park in Highlands Ranch. This is such a great location for a family session with kiddos. It has huge trees, and is designed in a sort of bowl shape, so there's never too much wind, score!! It also gets bonus points for having an onsite bathroom and tons of fun features that kids always love. Double score!!

I was especially excited to capture this session seeing as their last session took place before their littlest one joined the gang. It was the perfect time to schedule an updated family portrait.Speaking of the youngest, isn't she the absolute cutest?! The way her pony tail fell perfectly to the side brought out her funny personality so well. Both of the Lopez girls were so much fun to work with.

Seeing the way they loved snuggling up with their gorgeous mama and play silly games with their dad made my heart just melt. Capturing each individual personality when it comes to family portraits is so important. With how quickly these little ones have and will change, it's vital to document each precious stage of their life. As well all know, in the blink of an eye, our tiny babies are suddenly not so tiny anymore.
